Concert Diary 2026/27
A Fancy of Folksongs
Join us for A Fancy of Folksongs, a richly varied programme celebrating the enduring power of folk music and its evolution across cultures. While much of the music evokes British pastoral landscapes and childhood reminiscence, Jubilate will also take you further afield, exploring Tippett's arrangements of African-American spirituals and the vibrant Old American Song settings of Copland, as well as touching on folk traditions across Europe and Asia. We are also delighted to be joined by renowned pianist, Roger Owens, who will perform solo works by McDowall and Bartok.
