An Oxford Elegy
On Saturday 10th March 2018, we were joined by Brian Kay and the Berkeley Sinfonia in a concert of music by Elgar, Holst, Parry and Vaughan Williams. The highlight of the concert was the Oxford Elegy, an atmospheric setting of two poems by Matthew Arnold, evoking the timeless rural landscape around the dreaming spires of Oxford.
