David Bednall Welcome all Wonders: A Christmas Cantata
Friday 10th December, Keble College Chapel, Oxford
Audience and choir left Keble Chapel on a high after an exhilarating performance of David Bednall's vibrant and original Christmas Cantata: Welcome all Wonders .
A huge thank you to our musical director, James Potter, for guiding us through it, and to trumpeter Simon Desbruslais and organist Simon Hogan for filling Keble Chapel with so much glorious sound. And thank you to to our audience who braved the winter night, face masks and social distancing to come and hear us sing, and to share with us a quite unique musical experience. |

For a few weeks in the summer we were able to sing in a beautiful Oxfordshire garden, thanks to the generosity of one of our members. This is Peter Street's sketch of our summer concert of songs and madrigals, which was performed on a balmy summer evening to an invited audience. We were joined by the cooing of doves, the vibrant song of the blackbird, and the tolling (almost on key) of the church bell
